Creative Commons via freefoto.com

In the world of emergency preparedness, we talk a lot about storing food & water in case access is shut off from those resources. Today’s task challenges you to look around where you are today and report how much stored, drinkable water you have access to.

A generally accepted guideline for preparedness on the topic of water storage is 1 gallon of water, per person, per day. So, for bonus points, figure out how much water you would need to have on hand for 10 days for your household.

THIS TASK IS WORTH 3 POINTS

  • You will receive ONE point for completing the form below to report how much water you currently have stored.
  • There are 2 possible BONUS points, one for calculating how much water you will need for your household for 10 days and two for committing to have this much water on-hand by the end of September.
