Today not only are we flashing back to a post from our first challenge 10 years ago, we have a special guest! I’d like you all to meet Cheryl. Cheryl was the person that started this challenge 10 years ago. Today she is joining us once again to bring you our challenge! Cheryl, can you tell us how us how you came up with the 30 Days, 30 Ways idea, and share with us todays challenge?
Today is a national holiday in the United States called “Labor Day” and yet for many, this will be, ironically, a day off work. However, in thinking about emergency preparedness, there is no rest allowed. Your loved ones may need you to be physically fit in order help them survive. While we may not like to hear this, evidence shows that the people more likely to survive a disaster are those who exercise and keep their bodies in shape to the best of their abilities.
DAY 2 Challenge:1-3, or 5 pts So, today’s task is physical. Go for a walk, jog, play some basketball. Do something to improve your personal health.
Level Up: 5 pts We didn’t have “level ups” when we started this challenge so no level up for day 2. You get a free pass.
Find Allies: Recruit friends and family members to play 30 Days, 30 Ways…. Build Your Network!! Each day a person you recruit completes a 30 Days 30 Ways task, your points double for that days task. The more individuals you convince to play, the more points you can earn for each days challenge.
