Task 8: Duck and Cover

Having experienced a major earthquake, I have learned first-hand why it’s important not to have anything heavy or breakable over my bed. In an effort to utilize all of the space in our homes, we often hang or store items up high or over our heads. Unfortunately, there have been too many instances where people, especially kids, have been hurt or killed because something fell or a piece of furniture tipped over on them.

DAY 8 Challenge:1-3, or 5 pts    Today, we would like you to identify two or three hazards in your home and their potential solutions.

Level Up: 5 pts Post a photograph of how you corrected at least one of your hazardous situations.
